When writing it's always good to have some "go to" tricks in your toolbox. When I teach new lessons in class, I like to incorporate topics that I like and enjoy. One of my favorite "go to" topics is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter (books/movies/park/blogs/etc.). I like to model how I expect my students to complete a writing task. This is my example of using my "go to" connections while focusing on a specific writing topic. WRITING TOPIC: Write an essay explaining the importance of overcoming fear.
