Make News ... Join Journalism @ FM9 Be the EXTRA EXTRA that FM9 readers know all about!
In this class, students will study the basic features of journalism, including its history, media influences, and basic newspaper and yearbook production. Students will write a variety of stories including, but not limited to, news articles, feature stories, sports news, reviews, entertainment pieces, and how-to columns.
Stories will be published on a regular basis in The Jag News (available to all FM9 students), and on the FM9 website. In addition to written projects, students will also learn about broadcast media. These video projects will not only be featured in The Jag News, but could also be used by FM9 as public relations tools for our campus.
